On Sunday we learned a new worship song “Run and Run (Christ Is Mine Forevermore)”. We used the song as part of our time at the Lord’s Table. It is a song loaded with powerful lyrics. The lyrics are so rich that within the first minute of originally hearing the song I knew it was destined to be a favorite of mine.

This week marks the end of Lent. On Friday, Christians around the world will observe Good Friday, remembering the death of Jesus for our sins. I use the word “observe” rather than celebrate as we normally speak of Christmas, Easter, Pentecost, and other major days of the Christian year because Good Friday is not really a celebration.
