At Bay Ridge, people dress in whatever is comfortable for them, suits and dresses, or jeans with sneakers.  We believe God looks at the heart, not the outer appearance, so come as you are.

Our worship style is contemporary. We sing both older hymns and more contemporary songs, all filled with solid Biblical content. Our meetings also have prayer for ourselves and the world, times of fellowship, clear teaching of the Scripture, and frequent celebration of the Lord’s Supper (Communion).

No.  You may fill out a welcome card if you wish and request more information or a call from someone in the church, but that is up to you.

Our children’s ministry spans from infants through 5th grade. We also have a quiet room for nursing mothers. Children in grades Kindergarten through 5th attend Sunday School where they hear Bible lessons, sing, and learn about God. The children are dismissed after the time of worship to go to their classrooms upstairs. You are welcome to drop your children at their classroom, attend their classes, or keep your children in the meeting with you. 

We also have a nursery for newborn through preschoolers located at the back of the sanctuary. You may drop your child off at any point during the meeting. 

All of our Children’s Ministry volunteers have had background screening and have been approved to work with our youth.

We take communion every week as a response to the teaching.  You do not have to be a member of Bay Ridge Christian Church to participate in communion with us. All followers of the Lord Jesus Christ are welcome to participate.
