The nature of the Bible and our own situation demands we carefully consider how to interpret the Scripture.
The central person of Scripture is Jesus Christ, and all of Scripture is focused on His person and work.
How do you determine the meaning of words, common mistakes in doing word studies, and the importance of grammar?
Studying a scripture verse isn’t simply dependent on what that verse says but also on what is happening in scripture at the time and what the verses around it says. Context is key in understanding scripture.
The Bible contains many different genres of literature. In fact, a single book can contain many. However, each passage is predominantly one genre. All genres may be used to communicate truth, but they will do it differently.

Not only are there tons of books available for further study, but there is also some great Bible Study software available for your use. Bret shares some of his favorites and how best to use them.
